Frequently Asked Question: FAQ:

How is patient privacy addressed by PicSafe?

Other FAQs

When designing the PicSafe app, patient privacy was at the forefront. Specifically the app:

  • Asks for patient consent before sending/uploading reports;
  • Removes media from the device after it is sent/submitted;
  • Encrypts all patient data before emailing;
  • Sends all data, if uploaded, via HTTPS;
  • Provides an audit trail of who has opened a report; and
  • Shows the time and location stamps all reports.

Please see the PicSafe Security page on this website for more information.
